The over taking of the downstairs table...
Thankfully we don't need this table to eat on, for it is currently home to the crafting items I'm using as I work on Christmas Cards!

Recent attempts at creativity :)
Small bar-mop towels.... Had to make some for me, as I gave away all the others! And they match my new apron! (Well, one side at least :)
Finally got this baby to work, and we are so happy for it to be part of my home! It definitely made making Emily's Pre-Christmas Pillowcases so much easier! But I forgot to get pictures of them when they were all done *sigh* Oh well! They are in the mail, waiting to give Sister Clendening a smile...
The other side of my reversible apron: so excited! Finished just in time for the cooking frenzy of Thanksgiving! Oh I love the holidays!

Embellishments...
Just a little Christmas joy for my missionary! Because, without a Christmas tree, the holiday feels a little different! And, if for some great reason they are able to get a tree--they can hang these on it! (Provided that I add the ribbon before I forget! :)

A picture a day...
I was inspired yet again by Stacy Julian and her wonderful outlook on life. She proposed a picture a day to celebrate an extended period of one's life (in her case, her son is in his Senior year, which had roughly 180 days) and show the details of life. I want to highlight the daily things that can be forgotten when we look back at our old selves. And so I commit (as of yesterday) to work on this project whole heartedly, with efforts made to understand myself and enjoy life instead of just counting down to the next holiday, the next anniversary, the next 'big' day. For each day should be big, each day can be made into something wonderful and unique. I am thankful for life, I am thankful for each day. I am thankful to be me, and so I eagerly attack this project of great magnitude.
See Stacy's post HERE for a visual of this project. I have of course tweaked it, seeing as I don't go to school, but I am excited to see my changes.... more soon when I have pictures!

My C-B
Finding help around the house can be difficult, but finding a good Crafting Buddy? Much harder.... lucky for me, my help is dropped off every morning with a smile- and he always wants to craft :)

Seth's letter to Sister Clendening
So sweet of Seth--is there much else that warms the heart such as this?!
And we add to the collection...
This isn't the best picture, but it shows the newest colors that I have continued to add to my collection of floral broaches! I love them!
They cluster so well on my sweaters/collars/jackets anything! I even have a few on my purses!

Just a few things...
After being inspired by a recent craft-exchange gift I was given, I was inspired to make a few more for myself-- I think they turned out pretty well!
And then I decided to make some Christmas Cards, both for myself and Emily-- we'll see what we can do :) I still have several more to make! Now to decide which I will keep, and which I will send to her!

further attempts at decoration...
The one above is for Emily's mission trainer Sister Gandolf, while the one below is for a special someone :) Yep, might be you. As soon as the mail goes out!

amidst the craziness....
My dear sister Emily (who is serving a mission in Tacoma WA currently) requested hair things... and so I have put together flowers, and buttons and bobby pins.... and it is bright and cheerful! I know this isn't that original, but it brightens my day, and that is enough for now.

Odds and Ends
Just a few things I've been working on at home.... the colors aren't well represented in the second picture, so I'll have to re-shoot before I post them on my Etsy site.... should turn out well-
