The over taking of the downstairs table...

Thankfully we don't need this table to eat on, for it is currently home to the crafting items I'm using as I work on Christmas Cards!

Recent attempts at creativity :)

Small bar-mop towels.... Had to make some for me, as I gave away all the others! And they match my new apron! (Well, one side at least :)
Finally got this baby to work, and we are so happy for it to be part of my home! It definitely made making Emily's Pre-Christmas Pillowcases so much easier! But I forgot to get pictures of them when they were all done *sigh* Oh well! They are in the mail, waiting to give Sister Clendening a smile...
The other side of my reversible apron: so excited! Finished just in time for the cooking frenzy of Thanksgiving! Oh I love the holidays!

Holiday Cheer

Just a few things to stick on my front door :)

Embellishments...

Just a little Christmas joy for my missionary! Because, without a Christmas tree, the holiday feels a little different! And, if for some great reason they are able to get a tree--they can hang these on it! (Provided that I add the ribbon before I forget! :)
For you, whose birthday was Monday! I hope you enjoy it! I used your favorite colors!

My meticulous button counter/sorter/pour-er etc.... and some towels I embellished... kind of fun~

A picture a day...

I was inspired yet again by Stacy Julian and her wonderful outlook on life. She proposed a picture a day to celebrate an extended period of one's life (in her case, her son is in his Senior year, which had roughly 180 days) and show the details of life. I want to highlight the daily things that can be forgotten when we look back at our old selves. And so I commit (as of yesterday) to work on this project whole heartedly, with efforts made to understand myself and enjoy life instead of just counting down to the next holiday, the next anniversary, the next 'big' day. For each day should be big, each day can be made into something wonderful and unique. I am thankful for life, I am thankful for each day. I am thankful to be me, and so I eagerly attack this project of great magnitude.

See Stacy's post HERE for a visual of this project. I have of course tweaked it, seeing as I don't go to school, but I am excited to see my changes.... more soon when I have pictures!
